Well, my last submission was I think my last TG1 render. I really want to pick up TG2, but school is gonna be more important for now. I would really like to purchase the Deep version, however rent, and food have priority for my money. So if anyone wants to donate some money...;)
Other random bit: I'm trying to learn Turkish. Hopefully that goes well with all my other stupid school stuff. So yeah...Turkish.

Terragen 2 Thoughts
Well, its finally out. Been a long wait for this and its now upon us. Although I've been playing around with it, trying to figure things out...I might make some people mad by saying this, but I'm not sure I'm impressed with it or not. I know its just a tech preview and whatnot, but I really hope that the final TG2 release won't have this amount of complication behind it. Having to input numbers for everything, and not being able to manually set things just annoys me.
What I loved about the other version is that you can easily see what your changing. With the new version, knowing exactly what you want to change requires for you to know to much. Especially since a lot of the parts you change have no tags on them for you to know what is what. Prime example: the camera settings. I've had to guess as to what input is what axis because nothing has a label. The other version was much easier to control and manipulate.
Although I will undoubtably continue to tinker with it, I just wish they wouldn't have made TG2 a MojoWorld clone. I've seen all these awesome renders with TG2 that look pretty dang real looking, I've yet to seen how this is possible with this version. I hope that the creators make a more user friendly interface capable of these results without bogging them down. /end rant.

5,000 Pageviews!
Prints

Listening to: Rammstein - Live Aus Berlin

I finally have recieved 5,000 pageviews. Not a lot to some, but its taken me awhile to get it. I have also just bought a print account. I'm not really worried about making money off of it, I would just like to have some of the projects I make up on my wall once and awhile.

After compleating my Mt Rainier project/print. I have started on something new, that I'm a bit excited over, cause I think its already looking good. Might have it done within a few weeks, depending on school.

All this new journal options is confusing:D

Update

News
Well, I'm finally back after about a week of being in a car. Helped move my sister and brother-in-law from Tennessee to Oregon. It came out to about 2500 miles through 10 states in 4 days. I'm sorry to whoever lives in the following states: Missouri, Nebraska, or Wyoming. As those are the lamest states to drive through.

Also, school starts on the 21st. Holy crap how the summer flew by.

Project
I have not forgot about my project that I have been working on. With work and it being a bigger task than I thought it would be, it is taking longer than I would have liked. Not to mention, rendering a absolute shit-ton of water at a mondo size for prints, takes a long time. I might make another 3-Peice picture as a print, and make this current one a bit smaller. Havn't decided compleatly yet.

Need some help!

Journal Entry: Sat Jul 1, 2006, 6:38 PM
Well, I have a three render Terragen project that I'm working on. As of now, I have a 1500x375 picture of what it looks like. But I need some help. I would like some imput by various artists who have the time to give me some imput on what needs changing and what should stay. I would like for this to be a stepping stone to making Prints. If anyone has time, send me a note with your email address and I'll send the picture your way. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
